The Smithsonian Channel partnered with cause+effect on the launch campaign for One Thousand Years of Slavery – The Untold Story, an epic four-part docu-series from Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance. This series tells a globally comprehensive history of slavery by examining what happened in the New World in the context of capitalism and colonialism.
